Documentary Photography

One of many photography projects documenting the living and working conditions of migrant agricultural workers, the below exhibition, titled ‘Hired Hands: Mexican Migrant Farmworkers in Lake Country’, was conducted for the Lake Country Heritage and Cultural Society in 2012. A curated selection of these photos has been displayed at the Lake Country Museum & Archives, Rotary Centre for the Arts, and the Bean Scene Coffee Shop. Selected images have also accompanied publications in The Conversation, International Journal of Comparative Sociology, Alternate Routes: A Journal of Critical Social Research, University of Toronto News, and British Columbia Organic Grower.
